Douglas J. Donatelli, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Douglas J. Donatelli co-founded First Potomac Realty Trust and serves as the Company's Chairman and CEO. He has led First Potomac's growth from four properties totaling 800,000 square feet in 1997, through its IPO and listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 2003, to become one of the largest and fastest-growing real estate companies in the Greater Washington region with over 14 million square feet of office and industrial properties worth more than $1.8 billion at the end of 2011. He was named Trendlines TrendSetter of the Year in 2011. Prior to 1997, Mr. Donatelli was Executive Vice President of Donatelli & Klein, Inc., a real estate development and investment firm located in Washington, D.C., and President of D&K Broadcasting, which owned Fox network affiliated television stations.
Mr. Donatelli is active in numerous charitable and community organizations, including serving as Chairman, Board of Directors, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, the largest social services agency in the Greater Washington area.
Mr. Donatelli received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University in 1983 and has been married for twenty years to his wife, Mary, with whom he has four children.

Nicholas R. Smith, Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
Nicholas R. Smith is a founder of the Company and has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer since the Company’s founding in 1997. He has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate in the Washington, D.C. area, including seven years with Donatelli & Klein, Inc. and D&K Management. Mr. Smith currently serves on the Council of Advisors for the University of Maryland's School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation Graduate Programs in Real Estate and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Choral Arts Society of Washington. He is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Catholic University of America.

Andy Blocher, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Andy Blocher joined First Potomac Realty Trust in 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Blocher has over 20 years of finance and capital markets experience, including 15 years in the public REIT sector. He oversees the accounting, capital markets, investor relations, and information technology functions. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Blocher was the Chief Financial Officer at Federal Realty Investment Trust, joining Federal in 2000 as Vice President – Capital Markets and Investor Relations; he was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2007. Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Blocher had served as Director, Structured Finance Marketing and Modeling at Freddie Mac as well as Vice President of Capital Markets for CRIIMI MAE Inc, a mortgage real estate investment trust. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Indiana University in Bloomington and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University. .

James H. Dawson, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
James H. Dawson served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since 1998 and was elected Executive Vice President of the Company in February 2005. Mr. Dawson has coordinated the Company’s management and leasing activities since 1998. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Dawson spent 18 years with Reico Distributors, a large user of industrial and business park product in the Baltimore/Washington corridor. Mr. Dawson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from James Madison University and is a member of the Northern Virginia Board of Realtors, the Virginia State Board of Realtors, the Institute of Real Estate Management and NAREIT. Mr. Dawson also serves on the NAIOP Northern Virginia Board.

Michael H. Comer, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer
Michael H. Comer served as the Company’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since joining the Company in August 2003 and was appointed Senior Vice President in February 2005. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Comer was Controller at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (“WRIT”), a Washington, D.C.-based, diversified real estate investment trust, where from 1999 to 2003 he was responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations and its internal and external financial reporting. Prior to his tenure at WRIT, he was a manager in corporate accounting at The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp., and, prior to that position, was with KPMG LLP in Washington, D.C. where he performed audit, consultation and advisory services from 1990 to 1994. He is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Maryland where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Mr. Comer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Timothy M. Zulick, Senior Vice President, Leasing
Timothy M. Zulick has served as Senior Vice President, Leasing since joining the Company in August 2004. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Zulick was Senior Vice President at Trammell Crow Company where, from 1998 to 2004, he concentrated on leasing, sales and development of office and industrial properties in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. From 1994 to 1998, he worked as a tenant and landlord representative with Casey ONCOR International where he also focused on leasing and sales of office and industrial properties. Prior to that, Mr. Zulick was with Colliers Pinkard and specialized in the valuation of commercial real estate in Maryland. He received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Roanoke College. Mr. Zulick is a licensed real estate person, a board member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) for Southern Maryland, and a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Additionally, he serves on the board of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maryland Chapter, where he has been the Chairman of their MS Golf event for the past 11 years.

Ernest D. Jarvis, Senior Vice President
Ernest D. Jarvis joined First Potomac Realty Trust in 2011 as Senior Vice President. Mr.
Jarvis is responsible for the company’s Washington, D.C. portfolio and supports
First Potomac in its strategic growth objective. Mr. Jarvis is a
fifth-generation Washingtonian and a seasoned real estate executive. Prior to
joining First Potomac, Mr. Jarvis was managing director and market leader for
CB Richard Ellis’ Washington, D.C. office, one of CBRE’s largest and most
profitable offices, where he led a team of brokerage professionals across
multiple service lines and was also responsible for the office’s business and
operating functions. Mr. Jarvis is keenly familiar with the Washington, D.C.
commercial real estate market, has insight into business policy trends, and is
part of the fabric of the Washington business community. Mr. Jarvis
serves as president of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association
(DCBIA), is a member of the executive committee of the Greater Washington Board
of Trade, is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, a board member
of the Landon School, a member of Leadership Greater Washington – Class of
2000, and a former board member of the Washington Performing Arts Society, the
D.C. Chamber of Commerce, Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund, and Urban Trust Bank.
Mr. Jarvis is regularly cited as a commercial real estate expert in a
number of periodicals, including the Washington Post. In 2012,
he was honored in the Washington Business Journal’s “Power 100, the
region’s most influential business leaders”. Mr. Jarvis received a BS from
Southeastern University.

Anthony R. Beck, Vice President - Southern Virginia
Anthony R. Beck joined the Company in 2006 as Regional Vice President/General Manager for the Southern Virginia portfolio and was appointed to Vice President in March 2011. Prior to joining First Potomac, Mr. Beck was Director of Real Estate Operations with Highwoods Properties, a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns and manages suburban office properties in the Southeast. Mr. Beck also served as Vice President of Operations for Solec Corporation in Norfolk, Virginia for ten years. Mr. Beck received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University and is a member the Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), the Virginia Association of Commercial Real Estate (VACRE) and the Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE), as well as a board member of the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Beck is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Hampton Roads.

Matthew L. Wilson, Vice President - Maryland
Matthew L. Wilson joined the Company in 2007 as Regional Vice President/General Manager for Maryland and was appointed to Vice President in March 2011. Prior to joining First Potomac, Mr. Wilson was a senior leasing executive with Trammell Crow Company and CB Richard Ellis in Baltimore, Maryland where he was responsible for commercial real estate services including leasing, development, property management and construction for 20+ years. Mr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington College and is a member of the Society of Industrial and Officer Realtors (SIOR) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Mr. Wilson is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Howard County Premier. He sits on the Board of Directors for Howard County Chamber of Commerce.

Edward V. Zaptin, Vice President, Leasing - Northern Virginia
Edward V. Zaptin joined the Company in 2005 as Leasing Representative for the Northern Virginia region and was appointed to Vice President in March 2013. Prior to joining First Potomac, Mr. Zaptin was a leasing executive with Grubb & Ellis Company and CB Richard Ellis in Tysons, Virginia, where he specialized in leasing and sales in the Northern Virginia area, representing the interests of tenants, institutions, and major developers throughout the market. Mr. Zaptin received his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary, where he was captain of the varsity football team. Mr. Zaptin is active in NAIOP Northern Virginia, the Chambers of Commerce for Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince Williams Counties, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

John E. Sadlik, Vice President, Construction
John E. Sadlik joined the Company in July 2005 as Director of Construction and was appointed Vice President, Construction in January 2007. Mr. Sadlik has over 20 years of real estate development and project management experience, including the areas of master planning, design coordination, permitting, infrastructure and construction. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Sadlik was Director, Design and Construction for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Prior to that, Mr. Sadlik managed interior and new construction projects for a general contractor in Herndon, Virginia. Mr. Sadlik received a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree in Construction Engineering and Management from The Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the American Institute of Constructors (AIC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC).

Judith A. Tria, Vice President, Property Management
Judith A. Tria joined the Company in April 2011 as Vice President of Property Management and has over 20 year of experience in property management. Prior to joining First Potomac, Ms. Tria was Deputy Director Real Estate and Facilities at The Pew Charitable Trusts and prior to that Vice President of 3rd Party Management Services for Vornado/Charles E. Smith. Ms. Tria is a graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, received her Certified Property Manager (CPM) in April 1996 and Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) in August 2008. She holds a Broker Real Estate License in the states of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Amy Barker, Vice President, Human Resources
Amy Barker joined the company in November 2004 as Director of Human Resources and was appointed Vice President in February 2011. She is responsible for recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits and training. Ms. Barker has more than 25 years of Human Resource experience and received her HCI and SHRM in 2002. Prior to joining First Potomac Ms. Barker was AVP, e-HR and HR Strategy at The Acacia Group in Bethesda, Maryland and Director, HR at Four Seasons Hotels. Ms. Barker received her B.A. from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Krista Bean Dorrian, Vice President, Legal
Krista Bean Dorrian joined the Company in November 2007 as Associate General Counsel and was appointed Vice President, Associate General Counsel in March 2011. Ms. Dorrian is responsible for providing legal support to the General Counsel as well as other departments in connection with leasing, construction management and property management. Prior to joining First Potomac, Ms. Dorrian was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for National Corporation for Housing Partnerships, an owner of multifamily housing. Ms. Dorrian received her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Virginia.

Patrick S. Kelly, Vice President, Acquisitions and Asset Management
Patrick S. Kelly served as Director, Acquisitions since joining the Company in May 2008 and was appointed Vice President, Acquisitions and Asset Management in June 2012. Mr. Kelly has participated in the Company’s expansion into the Washington, DC office market beginning in 2009 and, working with the Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, continues to be responsible for underwriting and executing the Company’s acquisition and dispositions and managing its asset management department. Prior to joining the company Mr. Kelly was Vice President at EDGE Commercial, LLC and Director of Acquisitions at Scheer Partners, Inc. Mr. Kelly received his bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College and is a member of various trade organizations, including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and District of Columbia Building Association (DCBIA) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Jubilee Support Alliance (JSA).

Robert H. Arnold
Robert H. Arnold has served since 1989 as the Co-Managing Director of R.H. Arnold & Company, LLC, a New York-based investment banking firm which specializes in providing advisory services to U.S. and international investment funds, and advising corporations on capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and valuations. He has served as a trustee since our initial public offering and was a director of First Potomac Realty Investment Trust, Inc. (our “Predecessor”) from 1997 until our initial public offering. Mr. Arnold has more than 30 years of financial experience including serving as the Treasurer of Merrill Lynch & Co. and the Chief Financial Officer of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets. Mr. Arnold serves on the boards of the WT Mutual Funds and Treasury Strategies, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University.

Richard B. Chess
Richard B. Chess is an attorney and has served since 2007 as the managing partner of the Chess Law Firm, located in Richmond, Virginia. He has also served since 2007 as President of American Realty Capital Markets, a securities broker dealer focused on real estate and in 2010 became President-Elect of the Real Estate Securities Association. From 2005 to 2006, he was Of Counsel to the firm Hoctor Kaplan, PLC. Mr. Chess has served as a trustee since our initial public offering and was a director of our Predecessor from 1997 until our initial public offering. From 1987 to 1996, Mr. Chess was Director of Acquisitions for United Dominion Realty Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust that invests in apartment properties. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a JD degree from the University of Richmond Law School.

J. Roderick Heller, III
J. Roderick Heller, III has served since 2004 as the Chairman of Carnton Capital Associates, a private investment corporation, and since 2008 as a director of Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd., a publicly traded Bermuda reinsurance company. He served as a director of York International, Inc., a NYSE company, from 2004 to 2005. From May 1986 to December 1997, Mr. Heller served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NHP Incorporated and various related organizations, including National Corporation for Housing Partnerships. NHP Incorporated, prior to its sale in December 1997, was a publicly traded company that, collectively with NHP Partners, Inc., was the nation’s largest owner and operator of apartment properties. Mr. Heller has served as a trustee of the Company since our initial public offering. Mr. Heller was a partner of the law firm of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in Washington, D.C. from 1971 to 1982. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, a Masters of History from Harvard University and a JD degree from Harvard Law School.

R. Michael McCullough
R. Michael McCullough became a trustee in 2003. Mr. McCullough was employed by Booz, Allen & Hamilton Inc. from 1965 through 1996. He was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Booz, Allen & Hamilton Inc. from 1984 to 1992. From 1992 until his retirement in 1996, Mr. McCullough was the Senior Chairman of Booz, Allen & Hamilton Inc. Currently, Mr. McCullough is a Director of Capital Automotive REIT, Watson Wyatt Worldwide and the National Rehabilitation Hospital. Mr. McCullough was previously a director of Charles E. Smith Residential Realty, Inc. Mr. McCullough received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Detroit.

Alan G. Merten
Alan G. Merten has served as the President of George Mason University since July 1996, and has been a trustee of the Company since October 2005. Dr. Merten was Dean of the Johnson Graduate School of Management of Cornell University from 1989 to 1996, the Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Florida from 1986 to 1989, and Associate Dean for Executive Education and Computing Sciences at the University of Michigan from 1984 to 1986. He has served on the Board of Trustees of mutual funds affiliated with Legg Mason Partners since 1990 and the Board of Directors of Cardinal Financial Corporation since 2006. He was a director of INOVA Health System from 1999 to 2007 and resumed serving on that Board in 2009. He also served on the Board of Xybernaut Corporation from 2004 to 2006. Dr. Merten holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science in computer science from Stanford University.

Terry L. Stevens
Terry L. Stevens is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Highwoods Properties, Inc. (“Highwoods”) located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Stevens joined Highwoods in December 2003. Highwoods is a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns office, industrial and retail properties. Mr. Stevens has served as a trustee of the Company since our initial public offering. Prior to joining Highwoods, Mr. Stevens held various executive positions, including Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Trustee, from 1994 to 2003 with Crown American Realty Trust, a publicly traded retail real estate company that merged with Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust in November 2003. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Stevens was Director of Financial Systems Development as well as Director of Internal Audit at AlliedSignal, Inc., a large multi-national manufacturer. He also spent 18 years with Price Waterhouse, including seven years as an audit partner. Mr. Stevens received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Juniata College and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School.
